The Silver Altar of Saint John: the left side. Although a competition was held, it was ultimately decided to divide the work among four workshops. The left side was created by Bernardo Cennini, who was responsible for the upper panel with the Annunciation to Zechariah and the Visitation, and by Antonio del Pollaiolo for the lower panel with the Birth of John the Baptist..
