The Silver Altar of Saint John in Florence:
the right side

Bottom
The Silver Altar of St. John: the right side. The structure of the dossal has a late Gothic matrix, with eight front panels and four lateral panels (two on each side), on two registers and divided by polygonal pillars according to a flowery Gothic style, populated by numerous statuettes in small niches, made in full fusion. On the right side, the upper panel by Antonio di Salvi and Francesco di Giovanni represents Herod's feast and Salomé's dance. The panel below depicts The beheading of the Baptist and it is attributed to Andrea del Verrocchio with the probable collaboration of the young Leonardo da Vinci.
