Assisi, Basilica superiore di S. Francesco, transetto settentrionale: le vetrate. Sono state forse realizzate su disegno del Maestro di San Francesco tra il 1275 e il 1280. Ai lati del rosone sono rappresentati Re David e il profeta Isaia; i dodici tondi delle due luci di destra invece sono dedicati a episodi del Nuovo Testamento. Nelle luci di sinistra invece si possono ammirare motivi geometrici.
Assisi, Upper Basilica of St. Francis, northern transept: the stained glass windows. They may have been made on a design by the Master of St. Francis between 1275 and 1280. King David and the prophet Isaiah are represented on the sides of the rose window; the twelve tondi of the two openings on the right are dedicated to episodes of the New Testament. In the openings on the left, on the other hand, geometric patterns can be admired.
