Assisi, Lower Basilica of St. Francis, Chapel of St. Stephen: the stained glass windows. The chapel of St. Stephen is the first on the right side of the nave. The stained glass windows date back to around 1320. The stained glass windows represent the Redeemer, the Virgin and saints; the design is attributed to Simone Martinii and the implementation to Giovanni di Bonino with his collaborator Angeletto da Gubbio. Among others, St. Louis King of France, St. Louis of Toulouse (St Lodovico d’Angiò) and Cardinal Gentile di Partino da Montefiore are depicted.
